|Engine and Emissions Supervisor
Coordinates engine development activities and provides guidance to U.S. engineers to improve engine development work flow. Develops and implements calibration and software strategies to improve engine capabilities. Provides technical guidance to IMSA engineers relating to engine control system development. Analyzes test information and results in order to determine specification for engine calibrations, and software. Acts as technical liaison between Isuzu Japan, and IMSA to ensure engine development is expedited. Manage Product Field Quality investigation activity. Performs vehicle & engine calibration as necessary. Keeps informed of current legal issues regarding engines and emissions.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent directly related work experience. Minimum five years automotive engine development experience. Diesel experience preferred. Basic engine and electrical engineering. Basic diesel and gasoline engine operation. Engine and emissions related government regulations. Strong PC skills in Windows applications. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Advanced report writing skills. Good leadership/analytical skills. Position requires 20 to 30% travel including overnight stays.
