Calibration Engineer II (OBD)

We currently have an immediate opening for a Calibration Engineer II (OBD) based in Plymouth, MI.  This position coordinates and performs diesel engine calibration for base engine, after treatment and on-board diagnostic systems in the test cell and on vehicle as well as verifies test cell calibrations along with calibrating vehicle-specific calibrations in vehicles. 

We require a Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; or equivalent directly related work experience including a minimum of three years automotive engine development experience. Coursework in internal combustion engines as well as diesel engine OBD or Emissions experience preferred. 

Requires strong knowledge in basic engine and electrical engineering, diesel and gasoline engine operation knowledge with good understanding of Emissions and/or OBD related government regulations as well as Diesel engine emissions or OBD calibration experience.

Must have strong PC Skills in Windows applications, as well as good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to organize/develop project goals and time schedules in area of expertise.  Enhanced report writing skills and analytical ability along with relevant skills in engine/software development as demonstrated by scholarly/industrial achievements required.
