|District Service & Parts Manager
Maximize dealer business growth and customer satisfaction. Communicate and execute company programs to assist dealers to become more profitable in the service and parts areas. Execute company service/parts policies and procedures. Expand Isuzu parts utilization into the market by ensuring dealer is consistently stocking, promoting and selling genuine Isuzu and FleetValue parts. Develops solutions to retail and fleet customer issues. Identifies product repair cause and responsibility. Coaches and counsels dealers to develop their technical and management abilities and participate in service training. Responsible for warranty repair authorization and claim review as well as product quality investigation and reporting. Functions as liaison between the region and dealership, ensuring he highest standard of assistance to dealers, customers, and fleet accounts.
Requires Bachelor’s degree in Business, Automotive or Mechanical Engineering, or 3-5 years directly related work experience required. Must be proficient with personal computers and smart-phone technology as well as Windows applications including Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience in dealer service and parts operations as well as knowledge of modern diesel and gasoline vehicle systems and on-highway vehicle mechanical and electrical familiarity also required. Productive self-starter willing to travel within assigned market. Must have passion to excel in all areas of job responsibilities in a timely fashion and have the ability to influence key dealer personnel to execute directives. Proficiency in meeting assigned parts sales objectives with the ability to collect fact-based data and make relevant judgments and decision as required. Outstanding time management aptitude as well as very strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills required. Must be able to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer or smart phone. This is primarily a traveling position in a mobile office environment which requires only occasional reaching, stooping, and lifting of office files, reports or records, typically weighing 25 lbs. or less. Requires frequent travel, over 75% of time including overnight stays.
