Manager, Fleet Development
Prospects, develops, and maintains relationships with major fleets to assist dealer group in coordinating fleet sales. Identifies and conquests major fleets within new vocational markets. Establishes relationships with key management of top 500 fleets, industry associations, and body company partners to assure sales by one or more dealers. Prospects directly by personal visits, telephone, social media, and industry events to promote Isuzu products to prospective fleets. Analyzes customer needs and works with body companies and ICTA application engineering to ensure ICTA offers a competitive, road ready package for respective customer and industry. Maintains contact reports, prepares reports, and communications for Fleet Operations management and Corporate. Assists selling dealers with placement of orders and with expediting of customer repairs.
Requires Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, related discipline, or equivalent directly related work experience and a minimum five years related experience in commercial truck industry; thorough understanding of commercial truck products, industry, and commercial truck fleet business; proficient PC skills in Windows applications; excellent verbal and written communication skills; proven sales and presentation ability; and proficient in social media. Requires occasional reaching, stooping, and lifting of office files, reports or records, typically weighing 5lbs. or less. Extensive travel is necessary in the performance of job duties.
