|Manager, Product Planning
Develops and maintains ICTA current and future product plans to support short term and long term business plan. Provides engineering liaison between all ICTA departments and other Isuzu companies. Provides engineering support for port installed accessory development. Provides technical drawings for publications such as the sales data book. Assists in the development and editing of marketing and sales training materials.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or equivalent directly related work experience and a minimum of five years industry experience, i.e. Sales, R&D, Service, or Marketing related. Must hold a Commercial Driver’s License, and have a good understanding of the complete vehicle and components, must also have a good understanding of complex performance calculations such as weight distribution, geared road speed, required horsepower, gradability and startability; mechanical and electrical knowledge; stress analysis and materials; and all Federal and State: safety and emission standards, driver’s license requirements, and highway weight limitations. Must possess proficient PC skills in Windows applications, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills. Also must have good layout skills for publications, ability to conduct statistical analysis and detailed research, and the ability to read/analyze engineering drawings. Position requires 20-30% travel, domestic and international, including overnight stays.
