POWERTRAIN - SERVICE
**Manager, JOEM Service**
Position Location: Plymouth, MI

Responsible for the implementation and coordination of all service programs and policies at the distributor and JOEM manager level. Provides technical assistance to Japanese Original Equipment Manufacturers (JOEM's), affiliates, ISZA-PT distributors and end users to assure Isuzu service availability, capability, and customer acceptance in North America.

Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction in all functions related to this position. The "customer" in this context refers to and includes fellow Isuzu employees, affiliated dealers of Isuzu products, owners and prospective owners of Isuzu products and related vendors for Isuzu products and services.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline, or equivalent directly related work experience. Minimum 7 years similar level and related experience preferably with an engine manufacturer. Minimum 5 years management experience within an engine manufacture or related discipline. Comprehensive knowledge of diesel engines, the operating principles involved and all associated value added systems, such as cooling packages, air intake systems, exhaust systems, mounting systems, etc. Knowledge of off-highway diesel engine business. Knowledge of service & parts business planning.

Knowledge of customer relations. Knowledge of diesel engine installation, application engineering. Mechanical and physical properties of mobile construction and marine equipment. Basic engine injection/timing/fuel delivery software (ECM/ECU). Engine electronics; OBD II, SAE J1939 and CAN BUS protocol. Knowledge related to Automotive or Industrial engine development (electronic controls). Position requires extensive travel, up to 60% including overnight stays.

POWERTRAIN - SALES ENGINEERING AND SERVICE
**Manager, Applications Engineering**
Position Location: Plymouth, MI

Performs diesel engine application/installation checks to verify and document appropriate installations for mechanically and electronically controlled engines. Specialty related to diesel engines as applied to industrial off-highway applications will be required and is the primary purpose of the position. Manages projects for component design related to engine power units, accessory components and installation/mounting components. Has budget management responsibilities for all assigned projects and travel as related to the application and installation of industrial off-highway engines.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an Engineering discipline combined with experience in diesel engine applications in the Off-Highway and/or Marine field. Minimum five years experience with an engine manufacturer, engine distributor, or related field. CAD (Pro-E) training and capable of producing mounting/fixing/bracketry components beneficial. Diesel Engine installation; application engineering.

Mechanical and physical properties of mobile construction and marine equipment Engine electronics; OBD II, SAE J1939 and CAN BUS protocol. Basic Engine Injection/Timing/Fuel Delivery software (ECM/ECU). Knowledge related to Automotive or Industrial engine development (Electronic controls). PARTS SUPPLY
**Parts Supply Planning Supervisor**
Position Location: Cerritos, CA

Responsible for the supervision and instruction of the Inventory Control group to ensure that an inventory of replacement parts is maintained with quantities sufficient to achieve a target customer service level, while remaining within inventory efficiency constraints. Responsible for ensuring the timely procurement of provisioning, maintenance, and post production requirements for service parts. Responsible for assisting the Parts Inventory Control Manager to continuously automate and find better efficiency in the functions and procedures of the Supply Department. Takes lead role in maintaining forecasts to vendors and assists in all inventory efficiency projects.

Requires a Bachelor's degree with emphasis in economics, mathematics, statistics, finance or other quantitative analysis discipline, or equivalent directly related work experience. The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years directly related work experience in the area of parts supply, distribution, and data systems. Xelus software (Plan) experience preferred, SAS programming language experience a plus. Must have extensive knowledge of parts inventory control and distribution principles, strong pc skills in Windows applications, especially Excel, strong organizational, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Position requires occasional travel.

POWERTRAIN PRODUCT PLANNING & ENGINEERING
**Senior Product Engineer**
Position Location: Plymouth, MI

Coordinates and communicates with Isuzu Japan and related departments/companies regarding schedules, specifications, and progress on current and future engine development projects. May recommend design or specification changes for engine issues, based on test data and benchmark results. Follows up on development issues and manages engineering change requests according to target dates. Trouble shoots issues by analyzing engine data, and also analyzes data for development issues. Proposes solutions to resolve issues. Creates and controls retrofit plans by collecting information from Isuzu Japan and tracks status of parts procurement. Makes specification job sheets by collecting the necessary information, including 3D image data of the engine model. Investigates competitors' products, and supports key vehicle build events.

Require bi-lingual (written and verbal) fluency in English and Japanese. Bachelors degree in Engineering, preferable mechanical engineering. Minimum five years experience in related field. Require strong knowledge of engine principles and design principles. Strong analytical, project tracking and report writing skills. Capability to learn 3D CAD modeling operation. Must have proficient PC skills and good verbal and written communication skills. Position requires approximately 10% travel, including international and overnight stays.

ENGINE & EMISSIONS
**Calibration Engineer II**
Position Location: Plymouth, MI

Performs a variety of engineering work in the calibration and evaluation of engine control systems. Keeps abreast of new technology of engine control systems and legal issues related to engines and emissions. Coordinates and performs Diesel engine calibration for base engine/ after treatment/On-Board Diagnostic systems on dynamometer and in vehicle. Verifies dynamometer calibrations, along with calibrating vehicle specific calibrations on vehicles.

Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent directly related work experience. Minimum three years automotive engine development experience. Must have knowledge of diesel and gas engine operation, plus engine and emissions related government regulations and testing equipment. This position requires 20 - 30% domestic and international travel including overnight stays.

ENGINE & EMISSIONS
**Senior Engine Development Engineer**
Position Location: Plymouth, MI

Coordinates, analyzes, and reports on various vehicle tests concerning engine hardware and calibration tests. Assists in the development of engines and emissions systems mainly through vehicle testing. Provides engineering analysis from tests and reports findings. Develops and investigates problems for prototypes and pilot vehicle engine and emissions systems under several conditions (durability, road trip, cold, hot, high altitude, etc.). Investigates field quality of engine control systems (emission on-board diagnostic, drive-ability) on existing GM/Isuzu products such as customer, in-use, durability, and fleet vehicles.

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent directly related work experience. Advanced coursework in internal combustion engines preferred. Minimum five years experience in automotive research and development, concentrated experience in automotive engine development. This position requires 10-15% travel including overnight stay and weekend stays. Must be able to work in hot, cold and high altitude extremes.

VEHICLE TEST & VALIDATION
**Vehicle Test Engineer I**
Position Location: Plymouth, MI

Performs vehicle testing and participates in a variety of vehicle and powertrain development, evaluation, and validation projects. Analyzes, evaluates and reports results of product testing and evaluations, using both subjective and objective data. Assists VTV management with garage management, resource control, budget control, scheduling and reporting. Supports and assists Isuzu-Japan and other departments of Isuzu with vehicle and component testing activities. Assists in researching customer usage. Evaluates and purchases testing equipment for vehicle engineering and maintains current test equipment to ensure efficient operation. Works closely with Powertrain, Engine & Emissions, Commercial Vehicle and ISZJ departments to execute various development, evaluations, and validation projects.

Bachelors degree in Engineering, or equivalent directly related work experience. Minimum one year experience in automotive research and development. Prefer commercial truck and/or engine system test engineering experience. Require basic knowledge of vehicles, powertrains, and test and development methods. This position requires 20 - 30% travel, including overnight stays. Must be able to work in hot, cold and high altitude extremes. Must be able to obtain and maintain a commercial driving license and medical certificate.

PRODUCT PLANNING
**Application Engineer**
Position Location: Cerritos, CA

Provides technical data/information including 2D/3D data to body builders. Performs body application support for truck chassis modification and special equipment installation on Isuzu trucks. Supports publication of Body Builder's Guide. Conducts application market analysis.

Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering, or equivalent directly related work experience. Commercial driver's license (C). Minimum five years experience in truck industry. Minimum two years experience in Unigraphics operation. Basic automotive engineering, weight distribution/center of gravity/material stress calculations. Knowledge on the usage of technical materials such as service and parts manuals. Understanding of all Federal and State: Safety and Emission Standards, driver license requirements, and highway weight limitations. Position requires 10-20% domestic travel including possible overnight stays.

PRODUCT PLANNING
**Manager, Product Planning**
Position Location: Cerritos, CA

Develops and maintains ICTA current and future product plans to support short term and long term business plan. Provides engineering liaison between all ICTA departments and other Isuzu companies. Provides engineering support for port installed accessory development. Provides technical drawings for publications such as the sales data book. Assists in the development and editing of marketing and sales training materials.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering, or equivalent directly related work experience. Minimum five years truck industry experience, i.e., Sales, R&D, Service, or Marketing related. Commercial driver's license (C). Good understanding of the complete vehicle and components. Good understanding of complex performance calculations such as weight distribution, geared road speed, required horsepower, gradability and startability. Good mechanical and electrical knowledge. Good understanding of stress analysis and materials. Good understanding of all Federal and State: safety and emission standards, driver license requirements, and highway weight limitations. Position requires 20-30% travel, domestic and international, including overnight stays.

SERVICE & PARTS
**Technical Support Specialist**
Position Location: Plymouth, MI

Answers the ICTA Technical Assistance Line and assists dealer technicians in resolving current service issues to ensure customer satisfaction. Maintains information in the database for analysis of potential product and training issues, and provides field failure information to ICTA Technical Groups. Provides professional, courteous and quality dealer contacts.

Associates degree in Truck/Automotive field, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent directly related work experience. Minimum Basic Level Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certified. Minimum three years dealer level work experience in service and repair.

Product knowledge -Diesel/Gas/Powertrain/Chassis/Cab/Electrical systems. Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge. Knowledge of application engineering. Position requires light travel (approximately 10% time) including overnight stays.
